SUMMARY: Baker Electric Solar is a leading solar energy installer in Southern California backed by over 75 years of electrical contracting experience. We are looking for solar Installers who will be a vital part of our installation teams. In this role you’ll be involved in working in a team environment installing residential solar on customer’s homes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure accurate and timely PV installations.
• Inverter, module, and conduit installation.
• Perform trenching, ground and roof mounts.
• Complete system start-up and diagnosis.

EDUCATION, SKILL, EXPERIENCE OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES:

• Solar Installation experience is a plus
• Construction related experience
• Attention to detail and safety
• Ability to work in a warehouse/rooftop environment
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to travel
• This position will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon receiving a job offer

Pay Transparency:
The hourly rate for this position is based on the local I.B.E.W. union rates. Other benefits may apply. For those not already part of the I.B.E.W union we will facilitate joining.

The starting salary for this opportunity range is listed. Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
