DescriptionPosition Summary: Provides support to the facility by performing duties in the janitorial maintenance and other support areas.
Second shift with a start time between noon and 3:30 PM.
- Perform janitorial and related services for the facility, including facility related grounds work, maintain supplies, assist with submittals and assist with purchase order requests.
- Enter Work Order information into the current maintenance software application for all assigned tasks.
- Report maintenance and safety concerns to the Facility Operations Manager.
- Collect recyclable materials identified by facility, and ensure items are recycled in accordance with facility specifications.
- Assist with lobby coverage, as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; with a minimum of two years' experience in janitorial maintenance or related field.
- Thorough knowledge of the equipment, methods, practices, and materials involved in safely and efficiently carrying out assigned tasks. Considerable knowledge of applicable environmental standards.
- Ability to use office equipment such as personal computer, calculator, copier. and fax machines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to maintain detailed, accurate records and reports.
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks to ensure timely completion of all projects.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must have effective communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently.
- Ability to handle confidential matters and materials.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, and a good driving record.
- Ability to successfully complete an extensive background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a "Q" Security Clearance if required by the Facility Security Officer.
