Attention current high school math and science teachers!!!

Want an after-school way to earn a little extra income with very little stress? We are hiring tutors to work one on one with our students! You will be assigned to work at one of our locations in Needham or Wellesley, MA. You absolutely must be able to work in person which means commuting to Needham or Wellesley; although some students will want to work remotely, coming to our office is important for this role. This is what everyone knows education should be: a relaxed atmosphere where you are able to work one on one with students to help them learn things the right way.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and educate students in a non-classroom setting
• Design and implement lesson plans at varying academic levels
• Establish academic goals and milestones with students
• Document and communicate progress reports
• Provide constructive feedback for students
• Communicate lightly with parents and/or students regarding scheduling

​ Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in math or science
• At least two years experience tutoring or teaching (peer tutoring is fine)
• Ability to reliably travel to our office
• Professional dress and conduct
• Ability to build rapport with students
• Sufficient knowledge of core educational subjects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
