JOB PURPOSE:This position acts as primary contact for NAPA’s wholesale customers. A person in this position is responsible for ensuring sales by determining customer need, assisting in sourcing necessary parts and ensuring customer receives a good experience.
DUTIES:
- Establish and maintain good relationships.
- Capture all incoming store calls.
- Implement appropriate sales practices such as greeting telephone customers, demonstrating product knowledge, and ability to quickly understand customer’s needs.
- Maintain communication with commercial accounts.
- Practice asset security/loss prevention controls and understanding store pricing methods.
- Provide sales support functions.
- Valid Driver’s License preferred.
- Previous wholesale or retail sales experience preferred.
- GED preferred.
- Capable of operating point-of-sale system and cataloging.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as ability to multi-task and is self-motivated.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift.
- Capable of moving merchandise of up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to move heavy equipment using moving aids.
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
- Valid Driver’s License required for some locations based on store needs.
