StretchMed® New Haven - is seeking a charismatic, excited, and ambitious individual with success in sales, marketing and studio management to enjoy a full time Studio Manager position for our brand new 1-on-1 Assisted Stretching flagship location in renowned Little Italy of New Haven—the Pizza Capital of America! This location marks the debut of the first 1-on-1 assisted stretch studio in the area and is set to open this summer!

Who We Are
StretchMed® is a 1-on-1 assisted stretching model that comes out of the fitness space. Our proprietary stretch protocols were developed from over 50 years of hands-on experience working with clients in fitness. Our Certified Stretch Therapists (CST™) use a combination of PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) and static stretching techniques in 1-on-1 stretch sessions anywhere from 1 to 4 times a week, depending on the needs and goals of our clients. All stretch appointments end with percussion therapy, to accelerate and enhance tissue repair by maximizing blood flow and muscle relaxation.

Position:
You will have complete management of the studio, overseeing all operations under the leadership and direction of the owner. Our business model allows you to manage the studio with much autonomy and freedom to employ fresh inspiring marketing and sales techniques. You will have a dual focus on both driving sales/building revenue and retaining clientele.

Our model involves community engagement through pop-up events and creating genuine relationships within the community to foster name recognition and invite new people into the studio. Initially you will be of the primary stretch team; performing stretch therapy with prospects and clients at pop-up events and at our retail location. As you collaborate and market to grow the studio membership and revenue grows, you will be tasked to hire, train and develop additional stretch therapists. The goal is to grow the studio to the level where most of your time is spent developing therapists, maintaining a solid team that continues to be inspired through your example and continue to foster the relationships among clients and local alliances that nurture studio growth using our proven systems.

You will have full transparency of the studio P&L's and will receive a percentage of the profit once key metrics are hit. Position Responsibilities:
· Network & collaborate within the community to build Brand/Grow Studio Membership
· Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company goals to attract new members and retain existing ones
· Lead and manage the sales team to drive revenue growth
· Monitor sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
· Create & implement 12-month marketing calendar
· Community pop-up events, in-studio events, outreach
· Manage social media accounts
· Hire, train, develop & lead studio stretch team
· Perform stretch therapy
· Create a studio community/culture and sincere inviting environment
· Manage day to day operations
· General admin: performance metrics (KPIs), meetings, reports, ordering, scheduling, responding to client inquiries/issues, lead follow-up, studio cleanliness etc…

Requirements:
● Certification, license, or degree in exercise science or related REQUIRED
● Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing or equivalent, desired, not required
● 2 years sales, marketing or studio management
● 2 years in fitness/wellness industry or related field
● Proven experience in sales management and achieving targets
● Knowledge of fitness industry trends and best practices
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
● Proficient with social media and technology
● Able to stand for extended periods of time
● Capable of performing stretching therapy, which requires manual dexterity and the strength to guide and support clients through stretches
● Must be able to commute to location(s)

Salary: From $50k Base salary bonus/commission
