STRIDE Community Health Center is a 501(c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a 35-year history of providing team-based health care to the Denver-Metro area. From a single clinic in 1989, STRIDE has grown into a large, integrated health care delivery system serving 52,000 patients, annually, from 14 brick-and mortar clinics, including six school-based health centers and a versatile street medicine team.
What will you be doing in this role? A successful candidate will:
General Purpose: In order to ensure an engaging, safe and empowering customer experience at Stride sites, the Facility Tech I openly interact with all clinic visitors and staff. This position will ensure the standards of cleanliness, maintenance of buildings and grounds, and safety. Perform tasks that maintain a safe, patient centered and secure environment for staff and the public. This position is responsible for the overall safety of the environment by utilizing hospitality, communication, problem solving, and crisis intervention techniques to anticipate visitors needs. This position uses a proactive approach in performing their duties; helping to eliminate potential problems well before they ever surface. They are assigned back of the house as well as patient facing responsibilities.

Knowledge, skill and ability:
Education or Formal Training:
Experience: Must have excellent communication and problem solving skills. Crisis intervention, defense tactics training experience preferred, but willing to train. Must possess a valid Colorado drivers license.
Material and equipment directly used: Various hand and electric tools, handcart/dolly, personal vehicle,Cell phone and Computer, iPad, printer, multi-line telephone systems, fax machine, copy machine, calculator, and all Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel and the internet.
Working environment/physical activities:
Moves about the office environment and to other locations. Moves objects up to 50lbs frequently and 100lbs occasionally. Communicates information to others. Discerns/analyzes information from others to assist in decision making. Enters data into computer programs via computer, mouse and keyboard. Physical work in all weather and road conditions, including rain, snow, hail, and below freezing temperatures.
