Job Title: Bilingual Registered Dietitian - Diabetes Care Specialist (Lauderdale Lakes/Aventura)

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to integrate medical nutrition therapy into the management of patients with diabetes.

- Document information relevant to patient nutritional care in their medical records.

- Develop and implement personalized nutritional care plans.

- Encourage and support individuals in making positive lifestyle, diet, and medication adherence changes.

- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to each patient.

- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress in achieving diabetes management goals.

- Stay updated with the latest diabetes-related technology, trends, research, policy, and standards of care.

- Effectively utilize educational materials, technology, and resources to enhance patient understanding and engagement.

- Provide education to patients individually and in group settings.

- Float between Lauderdale Lakes and Aventura offices as needed.

Requirements:

- Fluent in Spanish.

- Strong background in diabetes care or experience as a diabetes educator.

- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.

- Experience in developing and implementing personalized nutritional care plans.

- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

- Proficiency in documenting patient information in medical records.

- Knowledge of the latest trends, technology, and standards in diabetes management.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Willingness to relocate to Aventura/Lauderdale Lakes area.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
