The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining our multi-family properties in and around Providence, RI. We expect the Maintenance Technician to assist in maintaining the physical integrity of our properties by providing a quality living environment for our residents at all times. In addition, this individual is responsible for responding to all resident requests for maintenance service in a courteous and professional manner; following through on completion of these work requests; communicating with residents/owners regarding problem work requests and making the necessary arrangements to resolve the problems. Daily activities would include:

• Recognize potential problems and take appropriate action
• Performing duties such as installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining facility equipment
• Fulfilling work orders
• Coordinating work order timelines with tenants
• Communicate consistently with Property Manager
• Operates with OSHA standards and company safety policies

To perform the job successfully, this individual must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Qualified candidates must have 2-3 years in related experience/training as well as a High School Diploma or general education degree.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
