Ultimately, Stronghold intends to apply its technology-intensive investment approach to a variety of specialist real assets verticals, including: Oil & Gas Renewables Specialty Real Estate (commercial, datacenters, marinas) Telecommunications and Technology Infrastructure Billboards and Fixtures Mining & other commodities Utilities Secondaries Job Description: Stronghold Investment Management is seeking candidates for the role of Title Attorney. The position will work with multiple departments to facilitate the acquisition and divestiture of assets in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess excellent negotiation skills coupled with an ability to analyze a high volume of transactions. An ability to create contracts and clearly communicate obligations to the team is also required. Responsibilities: Review blanket title and acquisition title and identify issues that need to be cured prior to close Draft and/or review proposed drafts for curative documents for various acquisitions Assist in drafting and reviewing deeds, Purchase and Sale Agreements, Letter Agreements, other documents as needed Run and review title in title tracking software or in other mediums as needed Correspond with outside vendors, brokers and counsel as needed for title related matters Assist with land administration staff as needed on correspondence with operators and outside parties Assist as needed with in-house attorneys on various projects, and reports to Senior Counsel/VP of Land Qualifications: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, national origin or any other category protected by law. Currently licensed and in good standing in TX with familiarity/experience in other states as to oil/gas title (OH, LA, NM, OK, PA). Ideally also licensed in NM, OK or LA; if licensed in OK, NM or LA at least familiarity/minimum two to three years' experience with TX title MINIMUM three years in oil/gas title review, including but not limited to reviewing and drafting blanket title opinions, limited title acquisition opinions, leasehold acquisition opinions, drafting deeds, agreements and curative documents Ability to run and review title in multiple mediums, for both operations side and acquisitions side, and understand how to properly utilize various technological platforms Familiarity with the TX Railroad Commission site/regulatory system and with unit structures Ability to calculate complex working interest and/or overriding royalty interest on HBP leasehold Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications.
