Structural Engineering Group, Inc (SEG) is Hiring a Construction Superintendent Near Washington, DC
SEG's Superintendent 1 oversees day-to-day field operations for smaller task orders and supports larger institutional and/or commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities include ensuring quality work, timely completion, and a safe work environment. They establish a professional atmosphere, promote communication, and assist in conflict resolution. The position manages multiple trades on projects ranging from $2-6 million.
Qualifications include an AS degree in Construction Management or equivalent with 5-7 years of experience or 10 years as a Journeyman in a building trade. Experience in government contracting is preferred, along with safety certifications (OSHA 30, 1st Aid, CPR) and a CQC certification.
