Tekla Detailer

We are seeking a highly experienced Tekla Structural Steel Detailer to join our diverse team of dedicated and motivated professionals. This position requires strong skills in Tekla Structures software. The ideal candidate must be efficient and detailed-oriented and must be an organized self-starter who needs little supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Structural Enginuity, Inc. is a structural engineering company with projects in many aspects of Structural Engineering including, but not limited to bleachers, grandstands, commercial and industrial buildings, industrial steel structures, custom metal cladding, tanks and related structures, telecommunications, utility poles and towers, solar racking systems, precast concrete, sound walls, underground structures, and retaining walls.

Responsibilities

1. Use Tekla Structures to produce complete sets of steel BIM details based on client specifications and requirements.
2. Use our company's standard details, code requirements, standard BIM practices, and previous experience to produce steel BIM details in coordination with the Detailing Department Manager, Project Lead Engineers, and other Tekla Detailers.
3. Produce BIM details accurately, on time, and on budget.

Qualifications

1. Must have strong skills in Tekla Structures.
2. Must have 2 years of work experience producing complete sets of steel BIM details using Tekla Structures.
3. Must be willing to work flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
4. A degree or certificate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) is a plus.
5. Drafting experience in AutoCAD is a plus.
6. Experience in Bluebeam and/or Adobe is also a plus.
