Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a STIHL/Handheld Technician at Steensma Lawn and Power Equipment located in Kalamazoo, MI. As a STIHL/Handheld Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform repairs and maintenance on STIHL handheld equipment. You will diagnose equipment issues, perform tests and inspections, and recommend necessary repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience with STIHL and handheld equipment repair and maintenance
• Knowledge of small engine mechanics
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and quality of work
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment
• Technical certification or diploma in small engine repair is a plus
