Job Description:

• Schedule daily tasks and manage employees
• Hire and train new employees
• Monitor adherence to quality standards and maintain accurate production
• Address employee disputes, questions, and concerns
• Manage deliveries and outgoing shipments
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, policies and procedures
• Order and manage inventory
• Ensure that shop is stocked, clean and organized
• Additionally, Shop managers may assist with daily production, including: operating power tools (saws, drills, etc), using hand tools (hammers, box-cutters, tape measures, etc), driving a forklift, using specialty equipment such as mixers, or brazing.

Minimum Requirements:

Proficient in Word, spreadsheet programs, and sending and receiving emails.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

Must be self sufficient and operate at a high level with very little supervision.

Problem solving and organizational skills are critical requirements.

Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, pass drug tests, including marijuana, and submit to a background check.
