Staff Product Manager - Core Experience (StubHub, Inc., New York, NY)
Ship and manage multiple high-impact engineering products. Independently turn high-level business strategy into coherent product roadmaps for engineering projects. Build compelling business cases for new initiatives and align leadership to greenlight investment. Lead by influence to rally the team to deliver projects with urgency. Proactively identify dependency bottlenecks and independently find pathways to align stakeholders. Assess prototypical use behavior and underlying systems, technologies, and development processes, as well as serve as an advocate for the team's end-user. Recruit and mentor senior team members as reliable judge of logical reasoning and cultural alignment. Manage product area team members within the same product domain. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to StubHub, Inc. at 3 World Trade Center - 175 Greenwich Street, 59th Floor, New York, New York 10007. Salary: $190,000 to $250,000 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or any occupation/position/job title involving consumer product developments with core user experience technology.
Must also have experience in the following: 5 years of professional experience launching consumer-impacting features or products; 5 years of professional experience working alongside engineers and designers; 3 years of professional experience developing frameworks to prioritize technology features based on sound estimations of business value and complexity; 3 years of professional experience performing A/B Testing and Experimentation; 3 years of professional experience using solid web technology including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS; 3 years of professional experience utilizing analytics tools including SQL to support decision-making; 1 year of professional experience utilizing reporting tools including Power BI; and 1 year of professional experience managing a team of product managers, setting goals and managing objectives.
