ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

When you truly love interior design - you dream it, live it, and breathe it. We’re looking for an Interior Designer dedicated to making the best design ever, we’re not striking for average.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced residential Interior Designer with strong interpersonal skills, exceptional organizational skills, and a creative eye for detail to join a collaborative and passionate luxury design firm. You will work closely with the team on all aspects of design and project management, ensuring that designs are in harmony with the preferences and desires of our clients as we execute to the smallest detail.

This is a full time, onsite position Monday through Friday in Boca Raton, FL.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to:

  • Successfully manage design projects, ensuring adherence to project deadlines and milestones
  • Take projects from preliminary concepts through to construction administration, overseeing the entire development process
  • Skillfully select and coordinate material specifications for projects
  • Design floor plans, 3D renderings, and FF&E specifications to meet client expectations
  • Actively participate in client presentations and project installations
  • Prepare comprehensive mood boards and furniture books to communicate design concepts effectively
  • Collaborate in vendor meetings and assist in coordinating with manufacturers for furniture and fixture specifications
  • Maintain impeccable organization in all client files and bins
  • Work on keeping the material library tidy and up-to-date
  • Conduct jobsite visits and site surveys for accurate project assessment
  • Coordinate project data and develop project schedules to facilitate production budget tracking and reconciliation

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design required
  • NCIDQ or Design Licensure preferred
  • 4-5 years of luxury residential design experience
  • Proficiency in Archicad strongly preferred, AutoCAD required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Google Workspace, and Design Manager.
  • Strong grasp of the design process and project delivery with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Excellent oral and written communication, a great listener who is isn’t afraid to ask questions Strong presentation skills, space planning, drafting, and experience with spec sheets, mood boards, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction documents
  • Knowledge of furniture, fabric and finishes
  • Curious, self-motivated and the ability to multitask and work collaboratively
  • Positive, easy going and open attitude - we have no egos here!
  • Deadline driven, self motivated and goal oriented with a high attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation required

SCHEDULE & BENEFITS

  • Full time, salaried onsite position
  • Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm with occasional overtime as needed
