Sturgis Molded Products is Hiring a Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift Near Sturgis, MI
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Sturgis Molded Products is currently accepting applications for experienced Mold Machine Maintenance Technicians. Successful candidates for this position must have strong electrical and hydraulic experience, knowledge of injection molding machine repairs and trouble shooting.
**Immediate Opening on 2nd Shift**
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be able to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Must be able to trouble shoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical equipment
- Assist in installation of new machines and auxiliary equipment
- Assist in building maintenance and repairs
- Interface with other departments concerning problem solving, technical information, training, and special projects
- Participate and maintain equipment and machine p.m. as directed by Maintenance Managers schedule
- Responsible for completing and forwarding work orders to Maintenance Manager
- Comply with all Federal, State and Company Safety Standards
- Must have tools and tool box to be able to perform the job
BACKGROUND AND PREFERRED SKILLS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have maintenance experience in manufacturing (Minimum 1 years)
- Worked in plastics industry (Preferred)
- Self-motivated individual that can work with little or no supervision
- Ability to make independent and sound decisions
- Maintains a positive attitude and works well with all team members in all departments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
