Job Description: We are seeking a skilled, experienced and motivated commercial carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry with a focus on commercial projects. As a commercial carpenter, you will be responsible for various tasks including but not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications
- Building metal stud walls including framing, drywall and drywall finish
- Perform repairs and renovations as needed
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on-site
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
- Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
- Knowledge of installing commercial doors and hardware
- Proven experience as a Commercial Carpenter
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction drawings
- OSHA 10
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
