About The Job
  • Support the processes and growth of various internal departments, including leadership, sales, carrier management, customer service, and support staff
  • Monitor the effectiveness of operations processes, ensuring accurate prioritization and timely improvements are made as needed
  • Responsible for setting and tracking KPIs, analyzing resulting data, and implementing process improvements in response to increase productivity, speed, order accuracy, and other logistics metrics
  • Strategize and develop new initiatives that support overall organizational goals
  • Prepare budgets for operations based on projected demand, assisting internal teams with the development of budgets and creation of department goals, helping to define success targets to evaluate their effectiveness
  • Coordinate with department leaders to determine the resources needed to accomplish their tasks and plans for obtaining resources that may not be available
  • Maintain high levels of communication and coordination with both senior leadership and employees, sustaining a strong culture of collaboration and customer-orientation
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years work experience in the logistics industry
  • Experience in a supervisory or team management role is required
  • Experience using a TMS is required
  • Strong understanding of CRMs, pricing, and rating
  • Effective relationship building and team management skills that can be used to further develop and motivate teams
  • Highly collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively and professionally across all departments to build successful relationships
  • Strong communication skills
