STV Infrastructure is Hiring a Transportation Engineer Near Phoenix, AZ

STV is seeking an experienced and motivated Transportation Engineer to design, and potentially manage, successful delivery of transportation infrastructure projects in the Phoenix, AZ location as well as supporting our Texas Mountain region (CO, UT, NM, etc.) projects and design teams. Functions and responsibilities include: Design and prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for transportation infrastructure projects. Evaluate feasibility and impacts of design alternatives. Prepare calculations, technical analyses, reports, and other project related documents. Independently lead tasks as a part of multi-disciplinary project teams. Communicates professionally and effectively with teammates, clients, teaming partners, and other project stakeholders. Assists with and participates in project pursuits and business development, under direction of senior staff. Collaborating with other market leaders to identify and pursue new business opportunities, execute strategic plans, and foster strategic relationships with key clients, agencies, and partners. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer License in or ability to obtain within 6 months, is required. Strong experience working with State DOTs, and other regional transportation agencies like Valley Metro. A minimum of 5 years of relevant design experience on highway, transit and transportation infrastructure projects. Excellent command of Microstation/OpenRoads to design and produce plans for transportation projects. Demonstrated technical skills, communication skills and ability to work within diverse teams. Active membership and participation in professional societies is encouraged. Growth minded with an entrepreneurial approach to your work.
