STV has an opening in our North Carolina Transportation group for a Sr. Project Manager for our Transportation division. You will serve as Project Manager and collaborate with a team of engineers to process projects from notice to proceed to final project closeout including plan development, scheduling, cost estimating, specifications, and related administrative duties. Duties also include supervision and guidance as they relate largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters. Consults with the Principal Project Engineer to resolve project related issues.
Experience with project oversight with both the design process and the coordination of a multidisciplinary team of design and quality professionals is required. Your involvement and leadership will be essential to performing at the highest level for our clients. At STV, your input and technical knowledge would also be valued while supporting project planning and aiding with proposal preparation.
Responsibilities Include

• Providing project management services for transit, transportation highway, and other projects for the NCDOT, Counties, Municipalities, and other transportation agencies
• Overseeing the development of design plans including horizontal and vertical alignment, and cross sections, construction staging, traffic control plans, signing and pavement marking plans
• Coordinating with the design team to achieve quality deliverables within the established schedule and budget
• Assisting with the development of specifications, cost estimates, reports and preparing final bid packages
• Establishing working relationships and interfacing with client technical staff and project managers
• Assisting with the preparation of technical and cost proposals

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is required
• PE or PMP Required
• Minimum of 15 years of transportation design or planning experience required
• Proficiency with MicroStation, Geopak and Microsoft Office Suite, Familiarity with Open Roads Designer preferred
• Strong background working with transit agencies, NCDOT, and local municipalities is desired
• Ability to manage complex budgets and schedules

Compensation Range$139,767.00 - $186,356.00
