What You will do:

  • Serve as a Transportation Planner and Analyst on multi-disciplinary projects that relate directly to transportation project development, land use planning, and environmental planning.

  • Assist in the preparation of feasibility studies, alternatives analyses, NEPA documents, transportation plans, and comprehensive plans.

  • Responsibilities would include- multi-modal transportation analysis, GIS analysis and mapping, developing graphics and presentations, technical writing, and preparing portions of various planning and NEPA/CEQA documents.

  • The position would require coordination with technical subconsultants. Additional responsibilities would include proposal writing for future pursuits.

  • The position would also require interfacing with senior management, client representatives, engineers, architects, planners, public agencies, construction contractors, stakeholders, and members of the public.

Required Skills:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor's degree required and master's degree preferred; degrees in Urban Planning, Architecture, Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering, Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Public Policy, Geography, or related fields are preferred

  • Specifically, preparation of transportation and land use plans and NEPA environmental technical reports and documents (preferred)

  • Experience working on transit and transportation projects (preferred)

  • Experience with technical writing for proposals (preferred)

  • AICP, LEED AP, LEED GA, and/or ENV SP (preferred)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ArcGIS required. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (preferred)

Compensation Range:

$79,854.00 - $106,472.00
