Job Description
Royal Durham Supply, a Style Crest Company, is a growing installation services provider, offering a wide variety of products for manufactured homes. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Counter Sales and Warehouse Associate in the Lenexa, KS area. This position involves working in the store environment while maintaining sales counter functions and customer pick up. This position also assists with warehouse shipping and receiving functions, such as order fulfillment, inventory receipt, handling, and storage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintaining good customer service skills while interfacing with customers on customer pickups provides customers with quotes, pulling customer orders and assisting customers with product inquiries.
  • Pulling orders for customer pick up and assist customers loading product as required
  • Loading and unloading of products in a safe and efficient manner using necessary tools, equipment, and skills, lift trucks, pallet jacks, etc., and may involve lifting and moving of heavy loads
  • Verifying the accuracy of inbound receiving lists and receive product into inventory using the appropriate tools and systems, computer systems.
  • Engaging in warehousing duties such as picking/packing and/or storing of inventory, housekeeping duties, and product movement
  • Ordering fulfillment with pick accuracy and reporting inventory shortages to management
  • Keying in transfers and receives transfers and orders.
  • Assisting in ordering product from store level vendors
  • Assisting in cycle count/inventory management responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
  • Assisting the store manager as directed.
  • Assist the Sales team as directed by store manager.
  • Maintaining clean, safe work areas at all times.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.
  • May be required to drive company vehicle to pick up product from vendors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates should possess the following knowledge, skills, experience and abilities:

  • Basic computer skills
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Professional telephone and email skills/communication
  • Demonstrates Customer-First attitude and behavior
  • Ability to be a team player committed to the success of the business
  • Excellent performance as evidenced by results produced
  • Operates from a clear set of positive values and principles
  • Has high moral character
  • Proactive and takes initiative; able to take risks
  • Committed to continuous learning
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated abilities/skills in problem, decision making, and conflict resolution.
