JOB TITLE: Receptionist
HOURS : Monday - Friday, 3p.m. - 7p.m.
POSITION SUMMARY: The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate personnel, greeting on-site guest, and directing them to appropriate personnel and/or departments. Oversee and maintain a clean environment for the snack area, while ensuring and providing exceptional customer interaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Welcome on-site guests in a professional- positive manner, determine nature of business, and direct guest to appropriate personnel
• Answer incoming phone calls; determine purpose of caller, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department.
• Answer questions about organization and provide callers with address, directions, and other information requested - in accordance with dealership standards
• Transfer callers to direct voice mailboxes if appropriate person is unavailable
• Take and relay messages, as needed
• Keep the snack area clean, neat, and restocked at all times
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail
• Maintain and oversee the list of personnel and department extensions
• Keep the extension list current and updated.
• Provide general administrative and clerical support, as instructed
• Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

• Expected to arrive to work on time and work required schedule
• Follow instructions from supervisor
• Interact effectively with co-workers

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Work experience within the related duties assigned; dealership experience preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of duties assigned
• Excellent listening/communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple phone lines and clerical tasks simultaneously
• Customer focus and self-motivated with time management and organizational skills

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.
