• Underwrite ground-up development projects in tier one student housing markets and high-growth multifamily markets across the country.
• Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing materials, pitch books, and other presentations for debt and equity partners.
• Perform in-depth real estate market analysis for a wide range of markets using Subtext analysis standards.
• Assist the development team with underwriting and market research from execution of the contract through stabilization.
• Build long-term relationships with regional and national lenders and equity partners.
• Assist in the debt and equity capitalization of Subtext-owned and developed projects from inception to final disposition.
• Support the investments team in day-to-day communication with debt and equity partners.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of investment and development processes and strategies.
• Stay informed and up to date with current trends and developments within capital markets, including changes in interest rates and investment patterns, to inform investment strategies and decision-making processes effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Business, Finance/Economics, Real Estate, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial real estate, investment banking or private equity experience.

• Ability to work independently and react quickly in a demanding fast-paced environment.
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, balance priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
