Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Maintains SVCA facilities and amenities to defined standards of cleanliness
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, and showers, including restocking/refilling soap, towel, and other product dispensers
• Maintains floors including vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping as needed
• Dusts/cleans furniture, walls, windows, windowsills, and fixtures
• Empties trash receptacles
• Sweeps or uses leaf blower to clean exterior entryways and walkways

•Gathers and disposes of building and grounds trash including litter from sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other common areas

• Maintains records of tasks performed
• Performs cleanup after identified special events
• Maintains an effective working relationship with SVCA staff, board members, and the general public
• Undertakes other duties as assigned
• Promotes and supports workplace safety

Work Experience/Educational Requirements:

• One year of custodial experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED

Relevant work experience may substitute for Educational Requirements
Additional Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Must successfully pass a background check
• Pre-employment drug screening required
• Must have a valid WA State driver's license and proof of valid auto insurance
