We are currently seeking the following position to join our team in Haughton, Louisiana.

CNC MACHINIST

POSITION SUMMARY

--To machine, inspect and produce manufactured products per operating procedures and instructions.

--Set up and operate CNC lathe and vertical milling center to make parts from various materials.

--Basic programming and editing for HAAS g code programming.

--Proficient at tooling setup and work holding setups on manual and CNC lathe and mill.

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN HAUGHTON, LOUISIANA; RELOCATION EXPENSES MAY BE PROVIDED

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Perform complex machining and inspection tasks

· Understand and operate machines, tooling, and measuring equipment properly and safely

· Read/understand basic blueprints and schematics

· Support valve assembly and disassembly as needed

· Support valve automation as needed

· Advanced basic math skills

· Effective communication skills

· Follow written and verbal instructions

· Work independently with help as needed

· Regular attendance is essential

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Able to use specialized equipment including manual, CNC, and measuring tools to machine parts from various materials

· 5-10 years experience machining

· Basic product knowledge and programming editing skills

· Responsible for quick turnaround of parts and accuracy within established guidelines.

· Self-starter capable of dealing with a variety of tasks in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.

· High standard of attention to detail.

· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

· Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 5-10 years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
