The Irrigation Tech is responsible for diagnosing and monitoring irrigation systems to ensure the plant material is getting the proper amount of water. The tech will start up the irrigation systems, and do inspections and winterizations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated skill and ability to servicing, repairing, and troubleshoot residential and commercial irrigation systems.
• Advanced knowledge of all associated tools involved in the irrigation industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Responsible to service new and existing irrigation systems to ensure they are working properly
• Ability to read blueprints to ensure proper locations of heads and zones.
• Install repair, and replace valves, timers, solenoids, main lines, laterals and sleeves
• Basic understanding of technology.
• Meet the clients on the job site.
• Must have a clear understanding of the philosophies by which the company operates, and the short-and long-term goals of the irrigation department
• Have a clear understanding of the hourly and cost budgets for each of the jobs. Monitor by reviewing job hours, reports, and job costs regularly and taking action as needed
• Maintain assigned vehicle and/or equipment in good working conditions
