**SIMON | Loader Operator-Mobile Plant**

Operates a variety of heavy equipment, vehicles, and tooling utilized in construction and/or plant production activities.

*Highly qualified candidates will have experience operating multiple pieces of equipment in related field. All candidates will be required to assist with other tasks related to asphalt plant construction. This would be a great opportunity to cross train on multiple types of equipment. All prospective candidates should enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather, be open to working in a fast-paced environment, have the ability provide excellent service to internal and external customers, and have the ability to travel extensively with overnight stays away from home for extended periods of time on the Highway Asphalt Plant. Applicants need not reside in Cheyenne, WY area and may be eligible for per diem in addition to competitive base pay and benefits.*

****Qualifications, Education, Skills and Experience:****

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or training in operation of heavy equipment operation preferred

Valid drivers license with ability to maintain a clean driving history required

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

****Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:****

Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance

Regularly required to use hands to move and manipulate objects

Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear)

Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain

Regularly required to work from a seated position operating equipment for long periods

Frequent exposure to loud noise

Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration

Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles

Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals

Occasionally exposed to working from high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock
