Sumeru Solutions is Hiring a QA Automation Lead Engineer Near New York, NY
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test data, test scenarios, and other testing related documentation based on the requirements and technical specifications.
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards
- Ensure data integrity standards.
- Plan, develop, execute, maintain and improve Automated Test Frameworks and Automated Test Scripts for Web and Database applications
- Identify areas for improvement in the quality system
- Create and maintain libraries and object repositories
- Participate in application planning meetings.
- Perform reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections.
- Work closely with the Development, BA and Business teams to gather and understand use cases for automation
- Strong understanding of web, mobile, API, desktop, packaged and database test automation technologies
- Ongoing knowledge of automated testing industry best practices and trends
- Experience with test automation and test management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment
- Strong Oral and Written skills
- Hands on experience on implementing ATDD/BDD/MDD/ Modle Driven Test Automation
- Hands on experience with Selenium, robot framework, Cucumber and other industry famous automation frameworks
- Experience with mobile testing
- Experience in linuxd, SQL
- Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing several test automation solutions leveraging one or more of the following: Selenium webdriver, Cucumber, Appium, RestAssured, SoapUI, Swagger, Postman, Protractor, Jmeter, LoadRunner, VisualStudio Load Test, Grinder, Gatling
- Knowledge on performance testing tools like performance testing tools like Jmeter, Galting
- Experience on any one of the security testing tools
- Experience with tools like Browserstack, Saucelabs SAAS testing platforms
- Advanced experience reading/writing one or more languages: Python, JavaScript, Java, TypeScript
- Expertise with data driven, keyword driven, script-less, hybrid, and behavior driven automation frameworks
- Expertise in creating UI test frameworks using Page Object Model.
- Experienced in Cloud Testing using Azure DevOps and AWS
- Expert in creating CI pipelines using Jenkins, AWS and Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on test automation experience in an Agile Development environment
- Hands-on experience with containers and virtualization
- Hands-on experience specifying, establishing and managing test environments and test data for load and functional test automation
- 2 years working as Test Automation Test Engineer (or similar), including proven experience of designing and implementing Automation Testing frameworks and methodology to support agile product development
- 5 years working as Automation Engineer leveraging test automation solutions of functional and load testing of web based technologies, desktops and databases
