POSITION TITLE: Engineering Technologist I SHIFT: 1stSECTION OR DEPARTMENT: Electronics DivisionREPORTS TO: Chris Thompson – QA Assistant Manager LOCATION: EdmontonBASIC POSITION DUTIES: This position will support Quality activities in ED4 new model development operations
- Provide new product team with support managing design related information
- Control and organize drawings using Access database
- Enter required data information into ERPLX systems for all design changes and new product launches
- Create Customer Change Request (CCR), Engineering Change Notice (ECN) & Engineering Information (EI)
- 3-5 years of experience in electric/electronic manufacturing with quality responsibilities.
- Must have excellent computer skills, knowledge pf Microsoft Office Systems (Excel primary/Access is beneficial)
- Working knowledge of ERPLX systems is beneficial
- Good Verbal and written communication skills and work well with various departments locally and off site
- Candidate must be self-driven and self-taught
- Candidate must have excellent organization skills, good work ethic and motivated
- Must have attention to detail
- Report to Assistant Quality Manager of the Edmonton manufacturing facility.
- Work with and support Quality, New Model, Manufacturing and Engineering to accomplish team objectives with emphasis on meeting targets.
- Work closely with New Model/QA groups
- Works with all departments as needed to support the needs of ED4 and K&S Mexico.
