Summary:
Ensures all group and provider information is accurate and maintained with all commercial and government payers and databases to ensure payments are received. Responsible for all aspects of the payer enrollment process for all Summa Health Medical Group employed providers.

Minimum Qualifications:

Formal Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Experience & Training Required:

Minimum 2 years' experience in managed and/or medical staff/credentialing or another healthcare-related environment.

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:

Excellent organizational and time management skills and multi-tasking abilities.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, colleagues, and contacts outside of the organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional and credentialing software preferred.
Attention to detail, analytical and research skill.
Dedicated to follow-through and results.
Flexibility as it relates to responsibilities and priorities.
Knowledge of commonly used credentialing concepts, practices, and procedures.

Level of Physical Demands:

Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
