We are seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our team! 
A successful candidate will resolve computer-related issues for students and teachers in an Baltimore City school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain student and teacher devices and other technology equipment including networked and stand-alone computer systems
• Software and hardware setup, installation, maintenance, diagnostics, replacement and upgrades
• Resolve issues for students and staff in person, or electronically
• Track issues and resolution
• Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting Local Area and Wide Area Network
• Establish and maintain user accounts on end user machines/devices

Qualifications:

• Personal computer and keyboarding skills; Advanced computer hardware and software skills; Operating knowledge of and experience with Google GSuite, Apple iPad
• Previous experience in IT support
• Ability to build rapport with computer users
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to organize and manage hardware parts/components of various sizes
• Physical ability to set up and take down equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair technology hardware and software issues
• Ability to lift at significant weight - minimum of 1 pound up to 100 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders to run cabling as needed
• Positive and professional demeanor

Living in or in close proximity to Baltimore City is a plus.
