Summit County Mountain Retreats (SCMR) is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to join our team as a Bookkeeper. We are a well-established and growing vacation rental management company based in beautiful Summit County, CO. With over 500 properties under our management, we are a committed team with strong ties to the area, a focus on client satisfaction, and the desire to build the best team possible. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summit County Mountain Retreats (SCMR) is looking for a full-time, year-round Bookkeeper to work on-site at either our Keystone or Frisco office. In this role, you will provide crucial support to the accounting department and contribute to the smooth financial operations of the organization. Working under the supervision of the Assistant General Manager, the Bookkeeper is responsible for providing accounting, financial, and administrative services to support efficient, timely, and accurate financial and administrative operations. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book
  • Bring the books to the trial balance stage
  • Help to file state and county sales tax reports
  • Make preparations and generate payroll and profit & loss reports
  • Data entry

COMPENSATION

  • $58,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience

SCHEDULE

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of bookkeeping experience (Required)
  • 3 years of QuickBooks experience (Required)
  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles (Required)
  • Prior payroll processing experience (Required)
  • Prior property management and/or property management software experience–Escapia, Track, Streamline, etc. (Preferred)
