Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe criteria for evaluation in this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Ability to exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment.
- Be familiar with and incorporate information derived from the manuals for the individual equipment being serviced.
- Must be familiar with and follow all MSHA safety practices and procedures.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift plant and equipment inspections.
- Work without direct supervision, in a self-motivated manner
- Operate light equipment such as skid steers and water trucks.
- Work from elevated positions using fall protection PPE.
- Be aware of the overall operational health of the plant and plan for necessary repairs, maintenance, and upkeep.
- Utilize tools, torches, and welding equipment.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and field engineering.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Perform additional job duties as assigned.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public always.
- Must be willing to work long hours and weekends when necessary.
- Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as well as all company policies
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
- Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school education: or 5 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
