Construction Equipment Operator

SUMMARY

Legrand Johnson, a Summit Material company, is looking for Front End Loader Operators in our construction division. In this position you will primarily be responsible for working safely with a pipe crew installing storm drain, sewer, and water lines in city streets, new residential developments, industrial building sites, and on other large open developments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operating a loader to support pipe crew with materials and parts as well as, loading trucks with dirt, concrete, asphalt, and other materials.
• Handling and/or moving material.
• Effectively communicating to all site personnel.
• Daily maintenance/inspection of equipment.
• Performing a variety of general labor tasks as required for the job.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment including the equipment you operate.
• Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of the loader loading requirements including load charts and critical picks.
