Summit Pointe is Hiring a Clinician Near Battle Creek, MI

CLINICIAN

Summit Pointe has several opportunities for fully/limited licensed clinicians to practice with a wide range of customers and areas of specialty. If you would like to work with children/adults, in a clinic/community/homebased setting, and to specialize in Crisis work/Substance Use Disorder/Urgent Care or provide general therapeutic treatment in a trauma informed care team...we have a position for you.

Pay Range: $21.01/hour - $30.46/hour

If you have...

Master's Degree in Psychology, Social work, Counseling or related field with Certification in the State of Michigan as a Licensed Master's Level Social Worker (LMSW), Limited Licensed Master's Level Social Worker (LLMSW), Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC).
Two years of experience in behavioral health care setting utilizing evidence based practices and behavior modification techniques.
Knowledge of psychotherapy, counseling, research methods, crisis intervention techniques, assessment and interview methods, and ability to coordinate programs and services essential.
One year of computer experience – Word, Excel and electronic medical record software preferred.
Ability to do the essential functions of the job with/without reasonable accommodation

Physical Environment/Work Conditions:

Professional office environment that generates noise from computer equipment/peripherals; or community setting/home setting with variable environmental factors.
Sometimes lifts, carries, or moves objects up to 25 lbs.
May be required to work variable hours/shifts.
Qualify for and retain a Summit Pointe driving permit – if utilizing agency vehicles or transporting customers – with the potential for exposure to automobile accidents causing possible bodily damage.
