The Summit Public Schools is looking for a visionary, innovative, and data-driven educator to provide leadership in the areas of curriculum and instruction in a high-performing school district. Summit is a progressive school district in a diverse community that highly values its schools and actively supports cutting edge educational experiences for all of its students. Therefore, the Director of Curriculum and Instruction must be a collaborative out-of-the-box thinker who will be afforded the opportunity to work together with other dedicated educators to advance and expand upon Summit's instructional programs.
We Are Seeking Candidates With The Following Qualifications
- High energy, passion for curriculum and instruction
- Knowledge of innovative instructional practice and STEAM education
- Expertise in developing curriculum, enhancing instruction and delivering professional development on best practices
- Expertise in analyzing data and using data to drive educational decisions
- Familiar with Title Grants applications
- State testing experience preferred
- Teaching and administrative/supervisory experience
- Central office experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Valid School Administrator/Principal Certificate or eligibility to obtain
