Summary of Position:

The Ancillary Operations Supervisor will oversee operations across all ancillary services departments (Laboratory, MRI, DME, Chronic Care Management, Workman’s Comp Pharmacy, and Behavioral Health). A liaison between staff and leadership, this role will be responsible for general project management, process improvement, and promoting the growth of ancillary service business lines.

Responsibilities

Contribute to oversight of general operations across each sub-department
Project manage initiatives as directed by Management, contributing to process improvement and positive P&L growth
Serve as liaison between leadership and employees within each sub-department
Track and coordinate accreditations for all sub-departments, ensuring regulatory compliance
Coordinate with 3rd party services (Lab Courier, CCM Team, BH Team)
Coordinator with Lab services supervisor to ensure all requisite samples are tested
Implement any changes to DME policies or procedures as directed by the Chief Medical Officer or Compliance Officer
Audit DME patient charts to ensure compliance
Coordinate with the Billing department to ensure accurate billing
Develop and implement growth initiatives that lead to increased utilization of Ancillary Services
Additional duties as assigned

Skills And Abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Strong attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Strong interpersonal skills when working with external stakeholders
Strong written communication skills
Working knowledge of medical terminology and legal aspects of health information

Education And Experience

Experience using eClinicalWorks preferred
Minimum 2-years healthcare experience preferred
Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
