Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries for accounting related entries to the General Ledger
- Follow company's established accounting processes while reconciling entries
- Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounting related activities
- Regularly maintain and perform detailed monthly bank reconciliations
- Regularly perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Support month end close and financial reporting activities
- Support year end auditing tasks to include pulling documentation, reviewing and uploading to external site, etc.
- Respond to audit requests
- Complete and maintain accurate records of work performed for governmental, industry, and regulatory filings
- Complete Ad Hoc Reporting as needed, including expense trend analysis
- Other Accounting duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5 years accounting experience
- Basic knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures as relates to general ledger accounting
- Excellent computer skills, with a strong focus on both MS Excel and Sage
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
