SUMTER COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM
TITLE: Federal Program Secretary
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma required, at least two (2) years of college or business school preferred.
- Good typing and filing skills.
- Basic bookkeeping skills.
REPORTS TO: Superintendent, or his designee
SUPERVISES: NIA
JOB GOAL: To perform all duties related to office receptionist and to coordinate the flow of persons into the various administrative
offices.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer and coordinate all incoming telephone
- Issue and maintain all records related to student work permit. Any required reports are
- Issue copies and maintain materials related to student cumulative record files.
- Handle general filing of records as
- Prepare the system-wide Teacher Institute List
- Prepare the monthly and annual consolidation of system-wide attendance records.
- Maintain the system-wide equipment
- Perform general office stenographic and typing procedures as
- Assist in other central office procedures as needed in a pleasant and cooperative This will relate to instances in which emergencies are involved.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve months basis. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.
