Medical Receptionist/Data Entry Specialist

Sun Country Physical Therapy is looking for an individual with experience as a medical receptionist and data entry specialist to assist in our outpatient rehabilitation facility. All applicants must be motivated to work hard alongside other staff, possess superior communication skills and be highly organized. Computer knowledge and office experience required. An essential part of this job includes the ability to perform well in various situations. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our medical facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medical and staff records
• Liaise with therapist to identify potential office dysfunctions
• Provide informative material for patients
• Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards
• Verify insurance and eligibility
• Obtain preauthorization form insurance for patients.
• Filing patient information into charts and any others tasks assigned.

• Ability to handle medical records discreetly
• Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations
• Communication skills and a customer service orientation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
