The Veterinary Clinical Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the veterinary clinic or hospital by overseeing the technical staff and operations. This position demands a thorough understanding of veterinary procedures, excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for animal care. Here is What Your day May Consist of:
Lead with Confidence: Inspire and motivate our veterinary technician team through effective leadership and a strong, supportive presence.
Technical Expertise: Utilize your veterinary technician skills to assist in surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, laboratory diagnostics, radiology, and other technical duties as needed.
Develop Clinic Protocols and Procedures: Collaborate with management to develop and implement clinic protocols and procedures to streamline operations and enhance patient care.
Conduct Engaging Team Meetings: Foster collaboration and communication by conducting regular team meetings to discuss goals, address challenges, and celebrate successes.
Training and Development: Provide comprehensive training and mentorship to team members, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles.
Ensure Staff Compliance: Uphold clinic standards and protocols by monitoring staff performance and ensuring compliance with established procedures.
Increase Workflow Efficiency: Identify opportunities for workflow improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity within the clinic.
