Statement of Purpose: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team. The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department in various tasks, gaining hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and general accounting procedures. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in finance while contributing to the success of the company.
Major Tasks, Duties, And Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and budgets.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and financial performance.
  • Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Help with the reconciliation of bank statements and financial data.
  • Maintain and update financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and financial models.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Demonstrate the Sun Health Vibrant Living culture and provides all customers/audience with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating Sun Health behaviors (the 6 Cs) each and every day.
Education And Experience
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have or be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
