Job Description SummaryThe Project Manager - Special Event Services will retain, develop and maximize the customer experience nationwide. Serving as a customer facing representative on the Sunbelt Rentals' Event team, this role is designed to meet the unique requirements of specialty customers and specific markets, such as live events, sporting events, music festivals, world-focused events, broadcast, and local entertainment. They are responsible for working adjacent to others on project design, planning, execution, and overall customer satisfaction. As the on-site leader, they will ensure customer service is delivered at the highest level. They will lead the on-site team from safety to service and load in to load out. As part of our Power & HVAC Services specialty division, our event team is equipped with state-of-the-art rental equipment, product knowledge and the highest level of professional skill in the entertainment market. Our overall goal is to provide on-site solutions and services to exceed our customers' unique expectations and demands.
Position Responsibilities:
Education & Experience:
Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind, or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

Position Responsibilities:
- Promote safety awareness and teach/enforce safety protocols for all team members Provide technical, project, and people leadership to the teams responsible for the design and execution on large event projects.
- Review schedule and procedures for completing key deliverables.
- Perform job site analysis including review of equipment monitoring devices.
- Project completion schedules, reviewing designs and updating for future events.
- Communication with customer and event representatives onsite, project installation and tear down.
- Work with inside support team to ensure accurate equipment inventory on contracts, proper BOL, loading, always unloading and inventory management.
- Daily check-ins with Strategic Event Manager and Strategic Customer Manager (Sales)
- Proper BOL and Inventory management, contract review.
- Equipment reporting accuracy.
- Weekly time sheets for all managed staff on site (Sunbelt Rentals, third party or contractors.
Education & Experience:
- 2 years successful event experience in the entertainment, sport, broadcast field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with effective managerial skills.
- Computer literate, including Windows, Adobe, and other Microsoft office suite products.
- 4 years Previous rental industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field is preferred, but not required.
