Job Title: Travel Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Rockford, IL

Shift: 8-hour days

Job Description: In this role, you will assist in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures under the direction of a physician. Your responsibilities will include preparing the cath lab, positioning patients for procedures, operating specialized imaging equipment to capture cardiac images, and ensuring equipment readiness and sterility.

Qualifications:

• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Illinois state license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Proficiency in assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures and operating cath lab equipment.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control procedures.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare team members and provide patient education.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
• Previous experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology setting preferred.
