Shift: Night, 5x8-Hour (23:00 - 07:00)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel CT Tech to join our team in New Orleans, LA. This position involves working night shifts and requires expertise in operating GE equipment. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a clinical setting and will be responsible for performing CT scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans as per physician orders and protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Operate and maintain GE CT equipment.
• Accurately document patient information and scan results in Epic.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Tech.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with GE CT equipment.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records system.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during night shifts.
