Job Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Assess patient needs, including clinical, educational, mental, and spiritual aspects.
• Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Function effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, prioritization, and delegation skills.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of New York.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
• Minimum of two years of recent, related experience as an ER RN
• Minimum of 1 year of Charge Nurse experience a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend requirement.
