We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist for a short travel assignment in Marble Falls, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing mammographic examinations and ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. This role demands a professional who is adept at patient care, maintaining a calm and reassuring environment for patients undergoing mammographic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Verify patient information and explain procedures to patients, answering any questions they may have.
• Operate mammography equipment and monitor its performance, ensuring proper function and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in mammography.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proven experience in Mammography, with a thorough understanding of mammographic techniques and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients.
• Knowledge of radiology information systems and PACS.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
