Title: Med Surg Oncology Travel RN - Chemo Certified (Preferred)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Med Surg Oncology Travel RN with Chemo Certification (preferred) to join our team. As a Med Surg Oncology Travel RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care to oncology patients, including assessing, monitoring, and administering medications.
• Administer chemotherapy treatments and manage side effects, as needed (Chemo Certification required)
• Educate patients and their families on proper care techniques and strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and social workers.
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers as needed.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg Oncology experience.
• Chemo Certification required (ONS or ASCP preferred).
• Ability to travel and work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
