Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a short-term travel assignment in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will join our dynamic medical team, contributing to patient care by performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with no on-call duties, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
  • Perform imaging procedures using gamma cameras and PET scanners.
  • Analyze and interpret diagnostic images.
  • Ensure patient safety and maintain compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Calibrate and maintain imaging equipment.
  • Provide patient education regarding nuclear medicine procedures.

Requirements:
  • Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine equipment and software.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Shift Details:
  • Days : Monday to Friday
  • Hours : 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Call : Not required
